The Grapes of Wrath

A movie review by McBrolloks

The Grapes of Wrath is based on John Steinbeck’s novel. Of course the book is a hell of a lot better, but the movie is excellent!

Henry Fonda plays the lead. The backdrop is the Great Depression. It gives you a grim look into what some people went through during that time. It also smacks you in the face with human nature, and how cruel we can be to each other as a specie. Then it kicks you in the balls by showing you how good you have it, and to stop your bitching and moaning over stuff that is trivial compared to what happened to these people.

All in all, it’s a very good movie. Especially after a drink or two. It makes you think, and feel.
