Tutu won Poepol of the Week Award here not too long ago.

He is redeeming himself, little by little, to follow is an example:

Johannesburg – Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair expressed sorrow on Tuesday at Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu’s decision to withdraw from a conference they were both attending in Johannesburg.

“Obviously Tony Blair is sorry that the archbishop has decided to pull out now from an event that has been fixed for months and where he and the archbishop were never actually sharing a platform,” his office said in a statement.

Tutu said on Tuesday it would be “inappropriate and untenable” for him to share a platform with Blair at the Discovery Invest Leadership Summit, being held at the Sandton Convention Centre on Thursday.

This was related to Blair’s decision to join the United States in its invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Halabja massacre

Blair’s office referred to Halabja massacre, where “thousands of people” were killed by deceased Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein’s chemical weapons, and to the Iran-Iraq war, as reasons for his decision to join the invasion.

“As far as Iraq is concerned, they have always disagreed about removing Saddam by force. Such disagreement is part of a healthy democracy,” it said.

“These decisions are never easy morally or politically.”

Tutu’s office said the summit had leadership as its theme, and this could not be separated from ideas of morality.

“The archbishop has spent considerable time over the past few days wrestling with his conscience and taking counsel from trusted advisers with respect to his attendance at the event,” it said in a statement.

“Ultimately, the archbishop is of the view that Mr Blair’s decision to support the United States’ military invasion of Iraq, on the basis of unproven allegations of the existence in Iraq of weapons of mass destruction, was morally indefensible.”

Tutu regretted “inconveniencing and disappointing” the summit organisers.

Blair is one of the speakers at the event. Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan and Russian chess grandmaster and political activist Garry Kasparov are also expected to speak.

Muslim political party Al Jama-ah said on Monday it planned to protest against Blair outside the convention centre.

“The demonstration is being held to support a warrant of arrest to charge him for crimes against humanity relating to the invasion of Iraq which led to the killings of millions of Iraqis,” said Al Jama-ah leader Ganief Hendricks.

Hendricks said the City of Johannesburg was allowing the party to hold its demonstration.

“It is hoped that one or more demonstrators will be able to make a citizen’s arrest on the day and put Tony Blair in jail and extradite him to The Hague for trial.”

The website arrestblair.org has offered monetary rewards to people who try to make a citizen’s arrest of Blair for alleged crimes against humanity. Attempts to arrest him have been made in China, outside the Chilcot inquiry into the Iraq war, at the European Parliament, and in Dublin, Ireland.

Fewer religious people in SA – survey

And so the trend continues allover the world, even in South Africa. People with perfectly normal brains are using it to think for themselves, and not to howl at the moon and worship imaginary friends. The godbots are a dying breed. Going deeper and deeper into the shadows of obscurity and craziness. Huddling together for support and to talk about the glory days when their brethren ruled the earth with an iron fist and an apron covered in the blood of the unbelievers. All to the glory of their spooks and in the name of their imaginary friends whom they are protecting from evil. Meanwhile back at the ranch, they are the true evil on the planet.

David Barton has been exposed as a fraud. Lies for jesus.

Pretend historian exposed

Christian publisher Thomas Nelson is endingthe publication and distribution of Barton’s recent bestseller, “The Jefferson Lies: Exposing the Myths You’ve Always Believed About Thomas Jefferson.” The book is being pulled because of gross historical inaccuracies and outright fabrications.

While reasonable, educated people have long known that Barton was a charlatan and a con man preaching a false history to sell books and promote Christian revisionist propaganda, the fact that Barton’s Christian publisher, at the urging of other Christian scholars, have decided to pull the book indicates that Barton is losing credibility within the community of Christian academics.

Barton has long been arguing for a false historical narrative, claiming that the founding fathers intended not a republic, but some sort of Biblically inspired theocracy. Attempting to force feed Americans, and in particular American children, a false and inaccurate American history, Barton has been leading a quiet and dangerous movement in this country. The movement, popular with Christian homeschoolers, is a blatant revision of American history in an attempt to pave the way for a Christian theocracy.

Barton’s false and discredited historical narrative claims that the United States was founded as a Christian nation, that the American Constitution is not a secular document but based on the Bible, and that most of the founding fathers were evangelical Christians, when in fact most were deists. Perhaps most egregious, Barton has been a leading proponent for the false notion that Constitutional guarantees of church-state separation are in reality a myth.

The Poepol of the Week Award goes to Prime

This retarded fuckwit  writes the following crap. Only a person with a rotted brain can come up with this shit!

Is it possible to be an EX christian?

07 August 2012, 09:36

Can a once Christian become unchristian? Can a convert to Christianity gain enlightenment and unconvert? Is faith conditional, salvation temporal, conversion reversible? This is the scope of this article.

No Atheist has ever been a Christian, atheists can’t speak of Christianity, when they do, by definition they are demonstrating remarkable faith, because they have never been there. Likewise, No Christian has not been an atheist, or can claim to have always been a Christian.

I cannot for the life of me understand why some atheists love claiming or suggesting that they were once upon a time Christian. Bulldust! Nobody since God sneezed the universe into being has been able to “unconvert” from being born of the Spirit a new creature in Christ. You cannot lose your salvation. You cannot exchange it, you cannot give it back, it does not come with a “14 year life back guarantee” lol

This is what the scripture says about people who thought or were under the impression that they were Christian and later rejected it.

“They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been with us, they would have continued with us. But  they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us” Jn2:19

“For we have come to share in Christ If indeed we hold firm our original confidence firm to the end.” Heb3:14

This is why you cannot unconvert: Lets just dance with a few scriptures, there are hundreds.

Our names are written in the book of life from eternity past.

“God chose us in him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love, he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ.” Eph 1:3ff

“He has perfected for all time those who are being perfected” Heb 10:14… beautiful!

“No one can come to me unless the father draws him, and i will raise him up on the last day”. Jn6:44

Here is one more reason, a logical one. The doctrine of salvation! The work of Christ comes to question when we suggest that you can lose your salvation, that is just bad language, you cannot lose your salvation, but you can realise that you never were saved in the first place. This unfortunately happens all too common especially in a country that boasts such high Christian stats while real Christians know that these people who tick the Christian box are actually “default Christians”

I can’t be any more clear. There is no such thing as an EX Christian. James Cameron’s Avatar’s and Marvel Incredible Hulk will move into the northern suburbs of Joburg millenniums before any single individual Christians becomes an ex Christians. An Ex Christian is not an oxymoron, It is a confused mistaken identity. Salvation is a gift, a consequence of the grace of God, undeserved, unearned, unrequested. And a Christian receives The Holy spirit as a deposit. We all understand the implication of the language “deposit”. God is the one who gives the Deposit. This is why scripture teaches “Christ in you, the hope of glory”Col 3:27. and “In Him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation and believed in Him, were sealed with the promised Holy spirit who is the guarantee(greek – “down payment”) of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory”eph.1:13ff.  How do you lose that? How do you give that back? A Christian cannot separate himself or herself from the love that is in Christ. Nothing can, no angel, no demon, no life situation good or bad, no lack of evidence, no surplus of counter evidence,  no nothing can divorce the Spirit of God from God! Not even our sin. For those of you atheists who are interested in the authority of these claims, Check out Romans 8, especially the end, But be very careful now, you might just see the light. I suggest reading it with ray ban’s.

How many people in the world have had a race change? Answer 0! How many people in the world have unconverted from Christ having tasted and seen that the Lord is good? Answer 0!

How ironic that someone who is not and never was or has been Christian speaks of what it was like to be Christian, comments on Christianity without  having known the radiance of his Glory and the perfections of his person. No wonder they hate Christianity, what they had known to be Christianity was despicable, and I only concur. AMEN ATHEISTS! AMEN! It all makes sense now, why they hate God so much, it is not that they Hate God, they love him, they hate what they perceive to be God, or what they perceive to be the illusion Christians create and call God, and judging by some of the comments on news24, I also hate the Christian God of the atheists, and so does Jesus, That God is so small, He sucks, he needs to prove he exists to gain followers, what a lame god. Worse still, what lame worshippers.   The thing they thought was Christianity, that thing they were exposed to and brought up with along with all it’s traditions and rules and regulations, I also hate it, but I don’t hate it nearly as much as what Jesus hates it and I apologise for that. They call it religion. God hates Religion and fake Christians and fake Christianity and it is everywhere, it masquerades in expensive suites, it is on posters, bookshops, masked behind wolves dressed as priests and pastors.! He is intolerant towards it, It angers Him and He has promised to dish out a can of Holy omnipotent vengeance on those who have created and preserved a lie in the name of The God-Man Jesus aka Christ! Atheists love claiming the “Been there, done that, got the  t shirt.” Line,  RUBBISH! And for those of you who don’t, Well done! Don’t ever!

I am actually sick and tired of unbelievers saying something that is spiritually impossible, biblically laughable and theologically heretical. Perhaps they say it hoping to gain leverage for why they disqualify the claims of the faith. I will rather believe that there was a poetic snake with a smooth tongue and a military donkey with attitude well before I believe that a human being turned his/her back on God having once come to know: personally, individually, corporately, sacrificially, intimately and affectionately, existentially, objectively and subjectively, conceptually and emotionally  the Glory of the God who hung on a tree like a dog between two criminals in our place for our sin. No, No, No, Shut Up! That is a lie. The claim is as outrageous as a white man saying that he was actually coloured during high school, then tried out Indian for the first year of University but landed on being black due to the lack of evidence white people pose for a better future south Africa and the leverage of the equity act regarding potential promotions in the workplace. Really?

So, what is the point of the story? Christians reject what they know very well, what they have experienced, what they have evidence of, what they can speak of and today are ashamed of. Atheists however, reject what they have never known or spent a day experiencing. Thus the atheist makes a risky call to deny a reality he has never earned the warrant of denial too. How silly.

Glove up fellas… Lets go a few rounds!

Religion harms more children. Batshit crazy parents following their cult leader at the expense and suffering of their own children. Fuckwitts!!!!!!

child abuse

A Russian sect has been accused of keeping children in underground in cramped cells. Picture: Andrew Brownbill Source: Herald Sun

A RECLUSIVE sect that literally went underground to stop contact with the outside world kept 27 children in dark and unheated cells, many of them for more than a decade, prosecutors say.

The children have been freed and the parents charged with child abuse.

Some of the children, aged between one and 17, have never seen daylight, health officials said.

The sect’s 83-year-old founder Faizrakhman Satarov, who declared himself a Muslim prophet in contradiction with the principles of Islam, has also been charged with negligence, Irina Petrova, deputy prosecutor in the provincial capital of Kazan, said.

No members of the sect, who call themselves “muammin” after the Arabic term that means “believers”, have been arrested, she said.

The children were discovered last week when police searched the sect grounds as part of a probe into the recent killing of a top Tatarstan Muslim cleric, an attack local officials blame on radical Islamist groups that have mushroomed in the oil-rich, Volga River province.

Mr Satarov, a former top imam in the neighbouring province of Bashkortostan, declared his house outside Kazan an independent Islamic state.

He ordered some 70 followers to live in cells they dug under the three-storey building topped by a small minaret with a tin crescent moon.

Only a few sect members were allowed to leave the premises to work as traders at a local market, local media reported.

The children have been placed in local hospitals for observation and will temporarily live in an orphanage, pediatrician Tatyana Moroz said in televised remarks.

The cramped cells, without ventilation, heating or electricity, form eight levels under a decrepit three-storey brick house on a 700-square-metre plot of land.

The house was built illegally and will be demolished, Tatarstan police told local media.

“They will come with bulldozers and guns, but they can demolish this house over our dead bodies!” sect member Gumer Ganiyev said on the Vesti television channel.

The ailing Mr Satarov appointed Mr Ganiyev as his deputy “prophet”, according to local media reports.

Mr Satarov had followers in several other cities in central Russia, media reports said.

In a 2008 interview with the Komsomolskaya Pravda daily, Mr Satarov said that he fell out with other clerics and authorities in the Communist era, when the KGB allegedly sent him to Muslim countries with stories about religious freedom in the officially atheist Soviet Union.

Government-approved Orthodox Christian and Muslim clerics routinely travel abroad on Soviet publicity trips.

“That’s how I became Satan’s servant, a traitor,” the white-bearded and turbaned man was quoted as saying.

“When I understood that, I repented and started preaching.”

Muslim leaders in Tatarstan said Mr Satarov’s views contradict their dogma.

“Islam postulates that there are no other prophets after Mohammad,” Kazan-based theologian Rais Suleimanov told the Gazeta.ru online publication.

“The teachings of Satarov, who declared himself a prophet, have been rejected by traditional Muslims.”

The sect members stopped accepting new members and are “only dangerous to themselves and their children”, Mr Suleimanov was quoted as saying.

Police entered Mr Satarov’s house last Friday as part of an ongoing investigation into the killing of Valiulla Yakupov, Tatarstan’s deputy chief mufti, who was gunned down in mid-July as he left his house in Kazan.

Minutes later, chief mufti Ildus Faizov was wounded in the leg after an explosive device ripped through his car in central Kazan.

Both clerics were known as critics of radical Islamist groups that advocate a strict and puritan version of Islam known as Salafism.

More than half of Tatarstan’s 4 million people are Sunni Muslims.

Tatars converted to Islam more than a thousand years ago, and the province became an important centre of Muslim learning and culture under Tatar-Mongol rulers who controlled Russia and parts of Eastern Europe.

Islamic radicals from the Caucasus have called for the establishment of a caliphate, an independent Islamic state under sharia that includes the Caucasus, Tatarstan and other parts of Russia that were once part of the Golden Horde – a medieval Muslim state ruled by a Tatar-Mongol dynasty.
