The Catholics are oppressed again! Their right to discriminate against others, even against people who do not believe in their bronze age dogma, is really upsetting them. For many centuries they were able to burn and torture others who they felt did not live up to their standards and believed in other gods or did not obey their god’s laws. Little by little humans have wrestled away their power over others. Today they are crying because people with the same sex organs are allowed to be married. Poor souls!

Standard

Shows you how idiotic and irrational believers are. They are upset because they can’t force their bronze age god’s laws on other people anymore.

Warning! You might laugh too hard an injure yourself!

Here is the alternate version.

Johannie will agree with both versions.

This reverend is certain Jesus was gay or ‘at least’ queer

Jesus was ‘at least’ queer, said Reverend Shore-Goss

A reverend and theologian is the latest to say he is sure Jesus was queer, and also that he would have been versatile.

Dr Reverend Bob Shore-Goss, made the claims in an interview with Vice Magazine, during which he discussed biblical views on homosexuality.
He said: “For my own spirituality, I would love to jump into bed with Jesus.”

“At the very least, Jesus was queer. He broke the rules of his culture, of heteronormativity. He subverted masculinities and gender codes in his culture. Queer doesn’t necessarily mean sexual orientation, but it can include that. St. Paul, I would say, would probably be described as a closeted homosexual today, but they didn’t have those words at the time.”

Going on, Reverend Shore-Goss said the bible was not homophobic, simply misogynistic, and that Jesus would have been gay or bisexual, noting theories that Jesus might have been trans.

“There was no concept of sexual orientation, but there was a concept of gender. So, in the Bible, when a man sleeps with another man like with a woman, it’s an abomination. See, the emphasis is on a man betraying his status: He has feminized himself. So it’s a gender violation as opposed to a sexual violation. The code of masculinity is very strong in the ancient world.

Now, homoerotic relationships in the ancient world are really common, especially in the Greek and Roman worlds,” he continued.

Finally, asked by Vice whether Jesus was top or bottom, Reverend Shore-Goss said: “Versatile”.

  2. ‘Chinese regulations passed in 2000 ban foreigners from all missionary activity including “distributing religious propaganda materials.”‘

    What part didn’t they understand?

    http://news.iafrica.com/sa/999294.html

SA detainees accused of terror links

A total of 20 people sent to China by a religiously inspired charity have been detained, most of them British or South African, the organisation said, adding some had been accused of watching “propaganda videos”.

Gift of the Givers, a disaster relief charity based in Pietermaritzburg in South Africa, said 20 of its associates were detained Friday at Ordos airport in China’s Inner Mongolia region.

It said 10 were South Africans, nine British, and one an Indian national.

“No reasons were given for the arrest. The Chinese, now trying to find reasons for the detention suggested that some members were linked to a terror group,” it added.

As of Tuesday 11 had been released, it added on a Facebook page. “The other nine are being held without charge at a detention centre on the accusation that they were watching propaganda videos.”

The public security ministry in Beijing did not immediately respond to a request for comment by AFP.

Gift of the Givers describes itself on its website as being inspired by Muhammed Saffer Effendi al Jerrahi, a master of Sufism, a mystical form of Islam.

The group, which has provided medical equipment and training in multiple countries in Asia and Africa, says its staff are “facilitators of Almighty God’s Aid… distributing it from Him to all of mankind. This is made possible only by His Grace and Permission.”

“God Almighty Exists,” it adds. “This is a Gracious God to Whom belong the Most Beautiful Attributes.”

Chinese regulations passed in 2000 ban foreigners from all missionary activity including “distributing religious propaganda materials.”

The ruling Communist party, suspicious of overseas groups, has in recent months tightened controls on foreign charities working in the country.

State-run media have accused some foreign groups of attempting to foment revolution and overthrow the party.

Police too have cracked down on foreign missionaries in China, detaining a Canadian Christian couple near the North Korean border last year.

Beijing also blames what it calls Islamist terrorists for ongoing violence in the mainly Muslim far western region of Xinjiang.

The South Africans were originally detained “with no access to communication or legal representation” and included several doctors, Gift of the Givers said.

The group’s planned 47-day tour of China had gone “horribly wrong”, it added.

A spokesperson for the British embassy in Beijing said Wednesday that 11 British citizens had been held in northern China, two of whom held South African dual nationality.

Officials were seeking “further clarifications” on the detentions, spokesperson Natasha Simpson added.

South African foreign affairs ministry spokesperson Nelson Kgwete told local television that the government had been informed “about the arrest of 10 South African citizens in China” and the embassy was providing consular assistance.

    • Meanwhile, back at the ranch Zoooma signs dodgy trade deals with the Chinese, allowing them to dump inferior clothing and other crap on our markets. And our own clothing industry, etc. goes for a ball of shit.

        • Maybe so. My issue is with government. Importing instead of fixing domestic problems is a very short-sighted solution.

          • I agree with import substitution rather than importing, but then you have to have a quality product at the right price. If Zuma’s BEE buddies are skimming off 20% of gross profit BEFORE Sars take its slice, then you’re not going to get quality at a reasonable price. Even Defy has been having customer complaints.

    • Holy, there’s also a documentary on Muslim men who cant handle themselves in the British cultural landscape with awful sexual exploitation happening to non-Muslim and Muslim woman. Seriously these people want to live in the West but then they moan about how woman dress in Europe.

      • Gerhard, they don’t do it to their own Muslim girls because they would be severely punished by their own society. These unemployed yobs roaming the streets should be put into labour camps. Further immigration from Islamic countries should be stopped. Call a spade a spade and realise that Islam is not a society that integrates. Jews will integrate into non-Jewish societies, but Muslims don’t. Muslim parents are pulling their children out of regular schools and sending them to Islamic schools to be groomed for jihad. The British authorities should cancel these people’s British citizenship and deport these families back to Pakistan.

Geert Wilders in Holland is absolutely right.

  3. So what do you think of those self-righteous people/blackmailers who hacked into Ashley Madison dating site for people looking for something on the side? I would sue the dating site for having such lax security.

Looking at this recent hacking, do you think that the customers are really “cheating douchebags” or whatever the hackers claim, or is it more single people trying to get some any way they can and/or people in an open relationship?

Also, what’s the male to female ratio like? I imagine around 5,000 to 1?

    [–]ImTouchingMyBoobsAMA[S] 761 points 1 day ago

Haha I couldn’t tell you the exact ratio but you’re probably close. We had WAY more men than women. The men on the site were exactly what you’d expect – horny, middle aged, sexually deprived and willing to do/pay anything for the affair of a lifetime. Poor guys, I always felt bad for them. The legitimate women on the site (we like every dating site had a huge problem with fraud/scammers/cam girls) were mostly single, looking for older married men. Lots of women looking for sugar daddies. We also got a lot of couples, looking to add a third person or another couple to their mix. As the site became more and more popular, I saw a lot more married woman making their way to us but they were far more careful than the men. The men would join, post a picture of their dick and then call two hours later screaming “why has no one messaged me?!?!?!” The delusion was off the charts. I had to explain at least five times a day that sending women pictures of your dick is literally the WORST first impression you can make. 9 times out of 10 they still didn’t get it and would just go upload MORE dick pics.

Overall it was a healthy mix of people in a number of circumstances. We had one guy I’ll always remember. His wife was in an accident and stuck in a wheelchair, unable to do anything. She forced him to join the site and encouraged him to find a woman he could have sex with. He ended up finding partners that would last a couple years at a time and it worked very well for them. The big thing I learned was to never, ever judge. You can’t possibly understand every person’s reason for being there and things aren’t always what they seem.

    • Sue their pants off :). The media would love that. And that’s the only reason this story made the news – sensationalism.
The reality is that once you divulge personal information to any organisation it is as good as in the public domain. At a rough guess I get more unsolicited/spam emails, SMSs and phone calls than anything else, and certainly not because I frequent dodgy websites or whatever. Our POPI Act is pretty useless here because I have no way of knowing who infringed my privacy.

Information is sold deliberately. Hacking is a smaller part of the privacy problem, and sometimes perhaps just a cover-up.

      • Yes indeed, why not pretend to have your website hacked while you blackmail your “clients” via a third party? Most of the men with their photoshopped dick photos would not be bothered, but women are another story. Slut shaming is big business.

      • What if you are a religious maniac and you infiltrate such a website to get access to the women’s details? You track them down and murder them in your spare time, you throttle them in their driveways with a piece of monofilament fishing line. Allahu akbar. A hitman could also be a fundie missionary with Johan Kotze tendencies.
